11-01-06        9:32pm  Transport Officer picked up a committal order from the Boone County Hospital and the male ran from the Officer from the Hospital. Individual was located at approximately 1:50am and transported to to Iowa Lutheran in Des Moines.

11-02-06        1:27am  Deputy Pontius investigated a car deer accident on Highway 30 west of Boone. Driver Roger W. Bach 18 of Carroll Iowa struck a deer, causing $900..00 in damages to his 1993 Cadillac, no injuries were reported.

11-02-06        7:09pm  Story County alerted that they received a complaint of a SUV west bound inthe East bound lanes on Highway 30, Deputies responded to the area and were unable to locate.

11-02-06        11:43pm Deputy Middleton responded to Boxholm on a complaint of 2 males were located inside a garage at 108 4th St, Boxhom.  The two men were scared off by the property owner.  Vehicle observed in the area was described by victim as full sized pick-up with yellow lights on top. Investigation continuing.  Nothing was reported missing.

11-03-06        1:09am  Deputy Middleton responded to a car deer accident in the 900 block of 130th, Pilot mound. Driver Roger Dodson 46 of  Dayton struck a deer on the roadway and rolled his vehicle into the ditch. Dodson was taken to the Boone County Hospital with minor injuries. The vehicle a 1991 Chevy Cavalier was totaled.

11-03-06        2:46pm  Deputy Dominick took a report that a Dan Godwin of Rural Boone had a twin axle trailer stolen from his property in the 1200 block of 155th St.  Value est. at $700.00.

11-03-06        7:45pm  Deputy Pontius responded to an unattended death in the 1900 block of 270th, Madrid. Death result of natural causes.

11-03-06        11:08pm  Deputy Pontius responded to a complaint of unresponsive elderly person in the 2300 block of 230th. Individual was transported to hospital by family member.

11-03-06        11:16pm  Deputy Middleton responded to a complaint of trespassers on private property in the 2100 block of 195th, Boone.  Arrested were the following for criminal trespassing, Benjamin A. Pyle 16 of Ames, Nicholas J. McDermott 17 of Ames, Ryan W. Tierney 17 of Ames.

11-04-06        5:49pm  Margeret A. Carter 58 of Boone reported hitting a deer in the 1200 block of E26. No injuries were reported, damages were under $1,000.00.

11-04-06        6:37pm  Deputy Naeve responded to an electrical fire on a utility pole at R Ave and 190th, Boone Fire responded.

11-05-06        3:49pm  Inmate Tyson Harris 23 of Boone was assaulted by inmate Owen Erickson 45 of Boone.  Harris was taken to the Boone County Hospital for treatment of his injuries. Erickson was charged with Assault.

11-05-06        7:19pm  Deputy Elsberry investigated a car deer accident on Highway 169 at Mile Marker 127. Driver Darlene Turner 46 of Algona struck a deer causing under $1,000.00 to her 2004 Chevy Impala, no injuries were reported.

11-06-06        10:24pm  Deputy Elsberry made a traffic stop in the 1000 block of Highway 30. Driver Jennifer L. Madden 30 of Boone was arrested for driving while License suspended and Boone County warrant for 5th degree theft bad check.

11-07-06        7:40am  Deputy Dominick responded to a single vehicle accident 1/2 mile NW of Woodward, in the 2300 block of M Ave. Driver Brandy M. Roberts 33 of Woodward was east bound on 335th and turning south onto M Ave when she turned to wide and rolled her vehicle into the east ditch. Roberts received minor injuries and was transported to Lutheran Hospitals in Des Moines. Damages were est. at $3,500.00 to her 1995 Honda.

11-07-06        12:24pm  Jerry Burger of Rural Adel reported that he had a tractor vandalized that was parked in a field at 330th and K Ave. Tractor had flat tire and windshield broken out, damages est. at $2,000.00.

11-07-06        12:49pm  The Iowa D.O.T. reported that someone had stolen 4 wireless antennas from their radar equipment stationed on Highway 30 near the Erickson curves., value est. at $2,500.00.

11-07-06        7:20pm  911 operator received a call of a dark colored 4 door vehicle possibly ford, headed west bound in east bound lanes on Highway 30 from Montana in Boone.  Patrol vehicles responded and were not able to locate the vehicle.

11-07-06        8:29pm  Deputy Pontius responded to an incomplete 911 call from a home in the 6100 block of West Lincolnway lot 49. Turned out a small child was playing on the phone.

11-08-06        3:40am  Deputy Pontius investigated a single vehicle accident 3 miles NW of Ames on X Ave. Patrick D. Zalesky 21 of Solon Iowa was south bound on X when he lost control and rolled into the west ditch. No injuries were reported. Damages were est. at   $1,000.00 to his 2003 Hyundai.

11-08-06        6:16am  Michael Parks 37 of Boone turned himself into the Sheriff's Office on a warrant, bond $2,000.00 for possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.

11-08-06        10:11am  Sgt Moore responded to a complaint by Rex Schell of Rural Boone that he had checks stolen from his residence approximately a month  ago, and did not realize they were missing until now, as he has been contacted that over $800 in checks have been cashed. Investigation has shown checks to have been cashed in at least 3 businesses in Fort Dodge, Investigation continuing.

11-09-06        5:32pm  Greene County Deputies arrested a Christian A. Brobst 37 of Rippey on a Boone County warrant, bond $600.00 for failure to pay child support, Brobst was transported to the Boone County Jail, by Greene County.

11-09-06        10:49pm  Deputy Pontius responded to an alarm sounding at Pannar Genetics in the 1200 block of Montana, was a false alarm.

11-11-06        5:50am  Deputy Middleton located a vehicle stalled in the middle of the roadway on east 1st and Snedden Drive, vehicle was towed.

11-11-06        6:00pm  Deputy Rohden investigated a car deer accident Fred Acuff 58 of Pilot Mound struck a deer 3 miles North of Boone.  Acuff's 1996 Mercury received $1,000.00 in damages, no injuries were reported.

11-11-06        6:30pm  Deputy Rohden responded to a domestic situation in the 2200 block of 160th, Boone.  Parent had reportedly struck a child, Kids ages 15 to 24 spent the night at a friends home. No charges at this time, DHS will be notified.

11-12-06        11:41am  Deputy Pontius responded to a chimney fire at 807 200th St, Ogden, Ogden Fire responded. Home the address of Bradley Wilson, no injuries were reported.

11-13-06        8:56am  Deputy Pontius responded to a complaint of a Burglary at The Broiler Restaurant in West Ames.  reported stolen at this time is 3 bottles of Alcohol. Investigation is continuing.

11-13-06        8:25pm  Deputy Dominick responded to a complaint of two intoxicated individuals who were at a residence in the 2000 block of Eagle Ave, Perry. Individuals had been in a single vehicle accident. Driver Miquel Ramirez 21 of Perry was arrested for O.W.I.  passenger Kyle D. Carnahan 18 of Perry was charged with possession of alcohol under the legal age. Ramirez was northbound on Eagle when he said that he swerved to avoid hitting a deer and went into the west ditch striking a utility pole, no injuries were reported. Damages were est. at $2,000.00 to his 2000 Plymouth Neon.

11-14-06        7:39am  Sgt Hurley responded to an alarm sounding at the Security Savings Bank in Boxholm. Turned out to be an alarm malfunction, has been repaired.

11-14-06        11:40am Sgt Hurley responded to a complaint of mules running loose in the area of the 1100 block of Lamb Lane, Logansport area. Mules had been rounded up before Deputy arrived.

11-15-06        11:55pm  Deputy Dominick responded to an unattended death of an elderly woman in the 100 block of F Ave Pilot Mound, Individual was found by a relative, died of natural causes.

11-16-06        9:41pm  Deputy Elsberry responded to a complaint of a custody dispute over a pet dog in the 1700 block of Peach Ave, Madrid. 

11-17-06        4:30pm  Deputy Rohden responded to a complaint of a cow running loose in the 2200 block of 150th, cow was located and rounded up, cattle belong to Wirth's in the area.

11-17-06        8:34pm  Deputy Elsberry met a Carroll County Deputy near the Boone/Greene County Line on Highway 30 with a prisoner. William D. Heuton 34 of Glidden was arrested by Carroll County on a Boone County Warrant in Glidden. Bond $5,000.00.

11-18-06        2:24am  Deputy Middleton responded to an automated alarm that was sounding at the Fareway Ware House. Was a fire alarm malfunction. Boone Fire responded.

11-18-06        11:33am  Deputy Dominick investigated a two vehicle accident 2 miles west of Ames at W Ave and 230th. Rosemary Sampson 77 of Ames was west bound in the outside lane, a second vehicle operated by Andrew J. Stephens 43 of Pleasant Hill Iowa was also going the same direction over taking the Sampson vehicle when Sampson changed lanes into his path to turn onto W Ave and the vehicles collided. No injuries were reported, damages were est. at $2,500.00 to Sampson's 1999 Toyota, and $2,500.00 to Stephen's 1992 Ford.

11-18-06        8:22pm  Deputies Pontius and Naeve responded to Highway 169 north on a complaint of a vehicle all over the roadway driving in both lanes. Vehicle was stopped in Boxholm and driver Clifton E. Krivachek 38 of Council Bluffs was arrested for O.W.I. 3rd Offense, Driving while License Revoked, Driving on the wrong side of the roadway, and open container.

11-18-06        9:14pm  Deputy Elsberry investigated a car deer accident 3 miles East of Ogden on Highway 30. Jenny Jo Fuqua 19 of Perry struck a deer causing $3,500.00 in damages to her 2000 Dodge Stratus. No injuries were reported.

11-19-06        12:24am  Deputy Elsberry and Pontius responded to Ogden to assist the Ogden Officer with a Domestic assault case. Mother of the victim called 911 and requested ambulance.  Arrested for Domestic assault was Steven D. Kindred 48 of 219 SW 4th St, Ogden, the location of the assault.  Female was treated by ambulance crew and first responders.

11-19-06        2:53am  Deputy Elsberry and Pontius responded to a domestic situation in the 600 block of L Ave, Boone. Female called stating that male had come intot he house and started breaking items and then left. Investigation continuing.

11-19-06        9:59pm Deputy Elsberry responded to a farm tractor on fire in the 1100 block of 280th St, Woodward. Owner of the tractor Greg Lewiston. Ogden fire responded. Tractor was in a field, no injuries were reported.

11-20-06        2:37am  Deputy Pontius made a traffic stop at Harrison and 3rd St, Boone driver Antonio Santiago IV 18 of Boone was arrested for O.W.I. 1st and possession of alcohol under the legal age.

11-20-06        1:59pm  The Office received a complaint from a farmer in Marcy Township who reported that his padlockes had been cut on his farm gates in Marcy Township.

11-21-06        8:00am  Sgt. Hurley investigated a single vehicle roll-over 2 miles NE of Boone on 170th.  Katie L. Morrissey 16 of Boone had lost control on gravel and rolled her vehicle into the north ditch. No injuries were reported, damages were est. at $1,000.00 to her 1991 Chevy Lumina.

11-22-06        7:38am  Sgt. Hurley responded to a complaint of a mail box vandalized in the area 2000 block of Rose Rd.

11-22-06        8:27am  The D.O.T. reported that they had equipment stolen from testing area along Highway 30 and T Ave, Taken was two censor boxes. This are has had vehicles collide into it and antennas stolen in the past couple of months. The State has decided to remove all the equipment.

11-22-06        9:18am  Webster County had arrested a Anthony McKinney 34 of Fort Dodge on a Boone County warrant and requested a Boone County Officer to transport back to Boone. No bond. Violation of court order.

11-22-06        10:36am  Detective Kendall arrested a Christopher Miller 20 of Boone on a Boone County warrant, bond $7,500.00, burglary 3rd.

11-22-06        6:05pm  Deputy Mitchell responded to an alarm sounding at Panner Genetics in the 1200 block of Montana Rd, Boone, false alarm.

11-22-06        8:19pm  Deputy Elsberry responded to an incomplete 911 at 1365 274th Lane, Ogden, everything checked out o.k.

11-23-06        12:19pm  Fort Dodge P.D. notified Boone County that they had arrested a Ryan E. Miller 21 of Pilot Mound on a Boone County warrant, bond $5,000.00. dangerous drug charges.

11-25-06        6:47pm  Deputy Rohden responded to a complaint of 4 black cows out on the roadway on Highway 30 just east of the Airport Rd.

11-26-06        12:34am  Deputy Pontius responded to Ogden to assist the Ogden Officer with a traffic stop. Driver Grant Jordan 36 of Ogden was arrested for O.W.I. 1st Offense.

11-27-06        9:59am  Detective Kendall responded to an automated alarm at the Security Savings Bank in Boxholm, was a false alarm.

11-27-06        12:38pm  Sgt Hurley responded to a complaint of goats running loose on Kale Rd, Near Fraser, owner of goats Ron Ahrens.

11-27-06        5:44pm  Deputy Dominick responded and investigated a single vehicle accident on old highway 30 2.3 miles west of Boone. Lauri A. Henderson 29 of Dana Iowa was west bound when she said that she swerved to miss a deer and struck a power pole owned by Midland Power. Henderson and her passenger Amanda Stevenson 19 of Boone were taken by ambulance to the Boone County Hospital for treatment of injuries. Damages were est. at $6,500.00 to Henderson's 2006 Suzuki and $2,500.00 to the Utility Pole.

11-28-06    1:32pm  Ames P.D. arrested a Darrell Little 26 of Boone on a Boone County warrant, was picked up in West Ames and transported to the Boone County Jail.

11-30-06       10:50am  Deputy Dominick responded to an incomplete 911, call was from cell phone and ran down to a construction site at V Ave and 120th. Foreman was spoken to and problem took care of.
