5-01-05 12:44pm Deputy Hurley and Madrid Officer responded to
a complaint of trespassers in the 2000 block of Owl Ave, Woodward. Two individuals were located.
Charged with simple trespass were Cleo L. Stoneburner 40 of Boone, and Jayme K.
Lynch 26 of Boone.
5-01-05 6:20pm
Deputy Rohden investigated a single vehicle accident 2.5 miles East of
Boone, at T Ave and Highway 30. Larry D.
Hamilton 76 of Humboldt Iowa was traveling west bound on 30 when he turned right and
lost control during turn and slid into the north ditch and struck a fence. Hamilton and passengers Darwin Hopkins 80 of
Fort Dodge and Eugene Smith 76 of Gowrie all received injuries and were taken
to the Boone County Hospital for treatment by Boone County ambulances. Damages were est at
$3,500.00 to Hamilton’s 2001 Dodge.
5-01-05 7:39pm Deputy Ellison made a traffic stop in the
1500 block of S Ave, Luther area and arrested driver Jereme R. Messner 19 of Boone, with driving while license
Barred and no insurance.
5-03-05 8:27am Deputy Elsberry responded to a complaint of a
vehicle that has been parked along the roadway in the 1900 block of H Ave for
several days. The vehicle a 1989 Chrysler was towed.

Boone P.D. made a traffic stop in Boone where stolen property was
located in the vehicle. Driver Ryan Miller 20 of Pilot Mound was arrested,
resulting in a search warrant for 541 Juniper Rd, Pilot Mound. Search warrant did produce additional stolen
property from the City of Boone. Investigation is continuing.
5-03-05 Council
Bluffs P.D. contacted the Sheriff’s Office advising that they had arrested a
Kevin Sloan 19 of Ames on a Boone County Warrant for Arson, Bond $15,000.00.
5-05-05 6:42pm
Deputy Kendall has begun an investigation at the Woodward Resource Center on a complaint that a Client had
assaulted an employee. The Employee required Woodward Rescue and Ambulance to
respond. The Client had head butted the
employee. Investigation continuing.
5-06-05 8:57am
Deputy Hurley responded to Bell Salvage in the 900 block of Quartz Ave, Boone. Someone had smashed out several
windows on 4 vehicles that were parked on the Salvage property. Vehicles were
in working.
